I find the blunt, squared nose extremely interesting. I have not seen that design before. Very nice work !
Thanks Bob. There are a few variations of square toes in this book…http://www.birchbarkcanoe.net/books.htm Also, I thought it would maximize the sq. in. of the shoe a bit more, while keeping tails, and keeping the shoe smaller for the kids.
