Snow days can really be nice. Although they really mess things up at work, they are a mini vacation and chance to enjoy winter. Today, among the many things I go accomplished, I finally got out and tested some new 14th century gear I have been working on. With the medieval hunting I have been doing, I decided to push things up from the 10th century “Viking Age” to a later date. This allows me to play with a bit more history and some other fun things… like a crossbow (once I finish it). Anyway, today meant a chance to try out a bunch of new clothes and to see how my new shoes work with wooden skis.
